Quote about character.

Quote

“Life isn't so black and white, Yasu. There are many shades of gray. He saved my life and I felt like I owed him my undying loyalty. He was the only person to see me as a normal person. I saw him going down a dark path but it wasn't my place, or so it felt, to question the man who gave me a new life.” -  Kigyu Asubi speaking to Yasu about his situation.

Summary

Kigyu Asubi was a broken child living on the streets in Quadrant One. When the Sorcerer found him a hundred years before the series started; he befriended Majz Ical and allowed him to experiment on his body. The resulting combination of himself with a snake saved his life and allowed him to live normally for many years at Da-Ku Castle. He became extremely loyal even to the point of not interfering with the Sorcerer's corruption by the power of the soul vortex.
